Welcome to the "Summertime" Getting Cricky Blog Hop!!
We're so happy you could join us for this month's Getting Cricky Design Team Blog Hop! I was asked to be the Guest Designer and I'm super excited. I'd like to invite you to visit each designer's blog (it's just half the crew this month -- you'll see the other half next month) because the eye candy is marvelous!
Throughout the hop we'll be showing what we love about.... SUMMERTIME!! From parties and celebrations to campfires and s'mores. We hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!! Sooooo, let's get hopping...
If you've hopped along from Kristal's blog then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Kristal's blog (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)...
Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days; Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!
K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America. You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs:
Kristal's stamp sets are perfect for cards, layouts, and so much more... For my project, I'm featuring the Summertime Splash set. For more details or to make this set YOURS, please click on the preview!
There is nothing I like more than summertime. I love the hot, longer days, and being able to go outside in short sleeves and sandals. Put me on a beach, and I'm in HEAVEN! My project today is from me day dreaming of floating around somewhere in the ocean, loving that saltwater. The diecut shapes are from Cosmo Cricket and the fish are from Cosmo Cricket too, they were on a patterned paper and I cut them out. The bird and cloud are from my bottomless stash and the little floating girl is from The Greeting Farm. I LOVE this stamp set and had a hard time deciding on which sentiment to use. Finally I decided on water you up to and added it to the sunshine.
One lucky person who leaves a comment and follows my blog will be selected to receive a random stamp set from K Andrew Designs! Not just any comment, I want to know what you like or dislike about summertime!
We'd also like to share TWO BRAND NEW Stamp Art Sets that are now available for Pre-Order with an expected ship date of May 25th!! If you want to be one of the FIRST to own these SUPER-CUTE sets, you'll definitely want to order TODAY (clicking on the previews will take you directly to the order page!!)...

Cute card! What I like the most about summer is that the days are longer and it's warm enough (even hot) to go outside without having to spend 5 or more minutes getting ready to go outside (coats, hats, gloves, boots, etc.). I also love all of the flowers in the summertime. Thanks for sharing and thanks for a chance to win!

I love your cheery card and the colors are really nice! What I don't like about summer is the humidity here in the south, what I do like is fresh tomatoes!!! I emjoyed browsing your blog, and I am a new follower. Hugs, Dawn
ReplyDeleteVery cute card. I love how the girl is in the tube. And the little fishes. What is like the most about summertime is a tie between swimming (have already been four times this year even though the water was FREEZING) and day trips. Hoping to go to the zoo, holiday world and a few other places. We have four kids so anything to get out of the house will work for them!
ReplyDeleteLol I love the pun, great card, those colors scream summer.
ReplyDeleteadorable card!! Im a new follower. What I like about summer is that we get to go to the water parks and get wet! my daughter is like a lil fish in water. she loves to play with water lol.

Gorgeous card Melissa (as always)!!! Unfortunately we are coming into Winter here - I don't like the cold so I would have to say the thing I love most about Summer is the warm weather!!!

Love the card, and love summer! I dislike the fact that so many business and stores keep the temperature so cold you'd think it was the middle of winter.
ReplyDeleteGreat job as guest designer!! I love how the card is an areal view!! Very cool!! I like summer but i don't love it, I get sun burnt really easily so I couold do without that and it gets really hot here so that is a minus, I actaully prefer spring nice mild temperatures!! thanks for the chance to win!!

Wow this is an awesome card. I love the girl image and the sentiment is perfect! Oh lets see I don't like the heat and now that I'm living here in Washington State we were told get your fans early. We live in base housing and they don't have any AC. So This will be my dislike of summer because I like the cool weather. But I will like that I can wear my flip flops. Ha! I'm a new follower & TFS AJ~
