Meet Teenie Weenie

This is our new foster dog, Teenie Weenie.  She is a mini Dachshund, weighing now at about 8lbs.  She is a puppy mill rescue, she was used strictly as a breeder, keep in a wire cage 24/7 - she lived in HELL.  She is very shy and under weight, I'm hoping to have her gain at least 2 lbs.  She will stay with us until we can find her a home where she will finally learn what it's like to know a gentle loving hand, plenty of kisses, and human trust.  Right now she is discovering how wonderful it is to burrow down in soft baby blankets and learning to trust me.  She has been spayed, teeth cleaned, all shots...and the vet's think she is about 5 years old.  I know she will make someone a wonderful companion, can you help find her a home?  Tell your friends about her and ask them to do the same...

  2. Oh, if you were closer I would beg and beg my DH for her. She is absolutely beautiful and doxies make fabulous fur-babies. So glad that you are able to foster her.

  5. She is soooo adorable! My DD has 3 of these lovable doxies, and she would have more if she had more time to spend with them. I'm so glad she was rescued while she still has lots of life left! She will make someone an awesome pet! Thanks so much for being her foster mommy!
