Today I did something for the very first time, I took my baby to college. Well, he's not a baby anymore but he will always be my baby. I remember going to college and how excited and nervous I was. I remember taking a picture of my high school boyfriend with me and placing it on my desk front and center. I also remember about 4 hours after being there that I took that picture and put it in a desk drawer - too many new guys to meet. Well, there were girls everywhere today and they all seemed to be checking out my son. He is a good looking kid and was getting a lot of attention. I image that he will have no problem getting used to college and he did tell me that for every 1 guy on campus there are 3 girls! I don't supposed he'll be too lonely :) but I'm sure going to miss my baby.
I am doing the same thing Saturday. My baby boy is grown and off to college (2 hours away from home). I am not going to do well with that I am afraid. My oldest did not go to college so I did not have to fret with his leaving. Gotta let 'em go I guess though. ~hugs~ Karen Sue
