Halloween Costumes!

I love digging through my Halloween stash, you just never know what you will find.  Like the bingo card from Jenni Bowlin, or the MAMBI Halloween sign.

I thought these were fun to use with the little Lawn Fawn critters who are dressed up to trick or treat. Who wouldn't like to see a bear dressed in a bee outfit, or a masked and caped owl!  Such cuties!

I am entering this into the Lawnscaping Halloween challenge.

ROAR - It's Tuesday!

This week at Some Odd Girl we have a whole bundle of new items to share with you. You are gonna LOVE these FAB new digis and cut files.

This card features the new Forest Fold Card cut file, a couple of sentiments from the new Loopy Sentiments V3 cut file pack, and the adorable new TRex.  Plus, I added Caveboy Tobie to my card.  I really felt that he and TRex would make great friends!

Also, we can't forget about the adorable, rascally, new Bandit Wizard!  Who can resist a cute little masked raccoon ready to whip up some magic!  Also, I used a couple sentiments from the Loopy Sentiments V3 cut file pack again.  I am so into these new sentiment cut files.

All these new releases are available today at the Some Odd Girl store.  Plus check out the creations from the rest of the DT featuring these adorable new releases on the blog.  Tons of great ideas!

Don't forget that we have our October Linky Party happening on the blog (look on the right side), and we have lot's of things happening at our FB community.  There are many opportunities to share your SOG creations and win.  We want to see and hear from you!

Is your school supply box boring?

I found this little suitcase out shopping somewhere and just new someday I would need it.  Well, why not a supply box?  There are never any cute ones available, pink, blue, green plastic - boring....I like mine much better.

I used the clear stamp set from Some Odd Girl, School Supplies. Quite fitting don't ya think? I can't forget that I also used paper from the Sunshine Sorbet 6x6 paper pad - it was a great match with the one blue side of the suitcase.  (Here's a little secret, I have already ordered my 2nd pad of Sunshine Sorbet cause I used ALL of my first one - I heart those papers)

I used Memento ink to stamp my 'supplies' and Copic Markers to color them all.  Markers used:  RV11, RV13, YR68, Y35, Y36, B000, B00, R08, R14, R24, E50, C01, C03.

My little gift box

OOoooh, I got the cutest winter paper pad, stamps, and wood veneer goodies from my Lawn Fawn goodie gift that I had to create something with it NOW.  I know I swore I wouldn't make anything Christmas until October was over, but...

This was a paper mache box I had picked up a bit ago.  I used the 6x6 paper pad Snow Day, along with the stamp set Snow Day. I like the kraft peeking through with the white, greens, and teal colors so I purposely left it. It was easy to do and I think the end product is so much more exciting than wrapping paper.

Memento ink was used and the bunnies were highlighted with Copics.  I am entering this into the Lawnscaping FIT DT challenge.

Feeling Witchy?

SOME ODD GIRL's Cauldron Tia is the perfect little 'good' witch of the DIGI world.  I had a ton of fun creating this stand up card with Tia and other embellishments from my black hole of Halloween supplies.  It looks so cute sitting on my shelf in my kitchen that it just may not get mailed out.

It's FALL Y'All!

I had fun playing with some Lawn Fawn goodies.  The 6x6 paper pad Sweather Weather has delish papers and the one with the little hearts was a fav.  It is what inspired me to create this fall wreath of hearts.  Can you believe I didn't use my Copic Markers once in this card??  heeheehe

Most all Lawn Fawn goodies were used with exception of the yarn, ribbon, 2 stickers from Simply Stories and Memento ink.  I am going to submit this to the Lawnscaping FIT DT challenge.

Happy Tuesday!

Eeeks!!  I'm so excited to share these two brand new DIGIs available today at Some Odd Girl!  They are both PURR-fect for fall and other uses.

I used Lion Tobie in a shaker birthay card.  I love the way it turned out with Sorbet sequins and Sequin triangles inside to shake things up. The sentiment stamp is from the stamp set Party Girl Gwen.

I just love the way Scarecrow is chatting with his birdy friends.  This is such a great focal point for fall projects.  Kristy has all the details a scarescrow needs and I positioned him on patterned paper from the SOG Sunshine Sorbet pad.

Remember we have our September Linky party going until the end of October just check the right side to find the link - you could be spotlighted and win.

Also, don't forget our DIGI Me contest is in full swing too.

The Mummy!

Hold on, it's only Mummy Tobie from Some Odd Girl, no need to run and hide.  I really love 'cute' Halloween and I'm making the most of it with cards, well and I have to admit, eating all the candy I bought.  Most other goodies are from the Halloween Swag Bag from Paper Issues and my stash!
