Manly yes?

I decided to start making some more 'guy' cards.  No frills, super simple.  I used Sweet Stamp Shop sets Beer Wishes, and Foodie.  Perfect for some of the men I know!

How to make PUFFY clouds!

Want to learn how easy peasy it is to make fluffy clouds for your backgrounds?  I have a little tutorial you can check out over on the Some Odd Girl blog.

Have a Seat!

Today starts my first inspirational for the Red Rubber Design Team! Red Rubber Designs offers a weekly challenge that will focus on stamping and all related techniques.

This weeks theme, Have A Seat, is all about sitting down.  Show us a stamped chair, sofa, love seat, bar stool, horse, bike...something that you can sit down on.

I used the Chair-ished Friend stamp set and some watercolor paint to create the splatter.

Farewell to Some Odd Girl!

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end so I am saying goodbye to my design term at Some Odd Girl.  Today, and for the next week, we invite you to hop with the whole team and take a little journey with us through the last year as Odd Girls.

I have had a most amazing year rubbing elbows with Kristy and the other designers and have L.O.V.E.D. every minute.  I also want to give YOU a round of applause (clap, clap) for the support you have shown me and SOG during the last year.  We couldn't have done it without you.

At each Odd Girl‘s blog, you’ll find 3 of her very favorite projects created during her term, and at each Odd Girl‘s blog, there will be a digi to win.  Leave your comments at each stop, and be sure to check out the main blog HERE for the full hop list and a chance to win one grand prize.  It’s gonna be a big one!
We hop now through Tuesday, March 31st at midnight EST, when we say goodbye to the current team and get ready to kick off a whole new term.  Are you ready to hop

Hail to the Queen!

Snow Queen Piper makes her debut today at Some Odd Girl as a brand new digi stamp.  I have to admit, I don't want to think about real snow anymore, but Snow Queen Piper doesn't fit that category.

I added some extra fluff to her fur trim and headband with some white flocking powder.  It's kinda hard to see without making my photo huge.

You will want to add Snow Queen Piper to your SOG stamp collection so mosey over to the store and grab her.

A little Vintage Look!

Trying out a little sepia vintage look.  This is something rather new for me since I am a bright color person and find it hard to use brown tones.  I was surprised at how quickly it came together.  The hardest part for me was not making rosy cheeks and lips.

Every cow needs a barn!

I had fun playing with the stamp set Moosey from Some Odd Girl.  As you can tell, I just wasn't sure what color my cow should be?

Hey Oddlets!!

It's Tuesday and you know what that means in Odd-land right?  It's time for a new digital release.  Meet Snow Fun Tia!  She is tossing that snow around and having a great time.

I had a fun coloring her in pink and green, plus I added white flocking powder to the snow flakes she is tossing and on the ground.  It's not easy to see the flocking, hard to get a good picture of white on white.  All the embellishments are from Freckled Fawn.

Grab Snow Fun Tia and add her to your Some Odd Girl stamp collection!

Finally Retiring!

I'm playing along with the challenge at Red Rubber Inspirationals #210 - For the Boys.  This is a simple retirement card, but I think that the sentiment speaks volumes.
