Some Odd Girl new release week has started!

Starting this week off we have some extra happy veggies to introduce.  Each veggie is separate but I merged these three together to create this scene.

This challenge theme is Sweet and Simple!  I used clear stamp set Princess Tia and I decided to break out my Prismacolor pencil set.  It's been a while since I have used colored pencils and I was surprised at how long it took me to get it all colored.  I'm thinking I need to play with them more, but I am such a Copic marker addict!

New Release Day At SOME ODD GIRL!

Another new digi stamp today at Some Odd Girl. I'm super excited to introduce Gnome Mountain!
 He is the perfect little Gnome with his scraggly beard, mad face, and snail companion.  I think he makes a pretty cute birthday card for someone who isn't exactly happy about having another birthday!

Tomorrow is Release Day #4! Get excited! 

Messy House!

I have been thinking about playing with this tryfold stamp set from Art Impressions for a few weeks now and their current challenge got me motivated.

These stamps sets are a really cool thing, and I had a load of fun coloring the scene and adding the tile floor. I did get exasperated with my picture taking and finally just gave up.  Do you see the shadow on the picture below where the left side folds over the right - you see that brown line?  I just couldn't get rid of it, so pretend that shadow isn't there.

I'm entering this into the Art Impressions challenge #179, House and Home.

The stamp set I used is Music Mae.  All her clothes and her hair are paper pieced, the rest of her is Copic Markers.

You can do hard paper piecing or easy, it's up to you.  All the Odd girls are excited to see what you create.

New Critter Release MONDAY!

It's time for some new Some Odd Girl critters!  Angry Owl and Smart Cat are now available in the SOG Store in the NEW category!

Smart Cat would be great for kids cards, teacher cards, acknowledging someone who just started wearing glasses, book marks...so may uses.  

Angry Owl is just too cute to really be angry and he will work great on most any projects.  Here I used him on an understated Valentine Tag.
