Release Day 5!

Our last day of new releases is all about ACCESSORIES!

I had so much fun playing with the new accessories.  They are so easy to use on your digital stamps because you can size them to get a perfect fit.  Just merge your files together and have fun!  I used new release Pig (cause I love him) and  did some flipping and merging to make them look a bit different, and with accessories, it's like a totally new image.

Hip Hip Hippo! I decided my Hippo should be lavender! This challenge theme is Sweet and Simple!  I used clear stamp set Princess Tia and I decided to break out my Prismacolor pencil set.  It's been a while since I have used colored pencils and I was surprised at how long it took me to get it all colored.  I'm thinking I need to play with them more, but I am such a Copic marker addict!

New Release Day At SOME ODD GIRL!

Another new digi stamp today at Some Odd Girl. I'm super excited to introduce Gnome Mountain!
 He is the perfect little Gnome with his scraggly beard, mad face, and snail companion.  I think he makes a pretty cute birthday card for someone who isn't exactly happy about having another birthday!

Here we go with Some Odd Girl's second day of new releases.  Naturally Gnome girl needs a friend so today we are introducing Gnome Fishing!  I also used a couple stamps from the clear stamp set Sunny Mae.  He is too cute for words!

Today I played with the digi stamp Gardening Mae.   I played with a different Copic skin color blend than I normally use and I think it worked? What's your thoughts?

Magician Toby!

This is a new digi stamp, released yesterday from Some Odd Girl.  I had so much fun coloring him and then creating this clear shaker tag.

You will notice that there are a few SOG Sorbet Sequins in there, plus I used stamp set Big Wishes for the sentiment and the cupcakes and slices of cake, that I made into miniatures with shrinky paper. I am loving this entire shaker tag - I'm thinking more will be coming!

We have a new challenge starting today at Some Odd Girl, and since it's SOG's 6th Birthday we thought it was fitting to challenge you to create your own Birthday Hat.  No worries, it's super easy to roll a 12x12 paper into a cone (I did it, you can) but just in case SOG does have a free party hat template for you to use.

Challenge rules:  use any SOG clear or digi stamp, or cut file in your project.  Be sure to post your hat in the facebook community under the appropriate photo album.  You have until February 2nd to throw your hat in the ring to win a $10.00 store coupon!

Frenchie Kody!

Frenchie Kody is such a great stamp set from Some Odd Girl.  This is my very first time trying the 'no line' stamping/coloring method.  I think practice is in order for me to feel comfortable doing this, but I am pleased with this card.
