It's too warm to snow?

Illinois is having a very warm November, no snow yet, and today it's supposed to be in the 60's.  My kids have only worn their heavy winter coats a few times.  Don't get me wrong, I love it because I don't like the cold, but I'm afraid for what's coming.  I sure we are going to get a blizzard...
