Love Challenge at Pretty Cute Stamps!

Come join the stamping challenge at Pretty Cute Stamps and get a head start on your Valentine's day cards.  The challenge runs from January 16 - February 6 and the theme is love.  

I used the stamp set Eskimo Kisses which is a great set for love or winter cards.  I wanted the fur to look dimensional so I used Stickles on each of the kids, sparkly Icicle on the girl and Picket Fence (off white) on the boy.  Sweet and simple card perfect for some kids I know!

Frenchie Kody!

Frenchie Kody is such a great stamp set from Some Odd Girl.  This is my very first time trying the 'no line' stamping/coloring method.  I think practice is in order for me to feel comfortable doing this, but I am pleased with this card.

Crafting is about expressing yourself , not going for exact carbon copies.  So use the colors you like, layer the papers how you want, and be proud of your coloring!  As you should do with everything in your life just b u!

I used Some Odd Girl digital stamp Unicorn Mae, and also used SOG Hexie Dots.

A little Vintage Look!

Trying out a little sepia vintage look.  This is something rather new for me since I am a bright color person and find it hard to use brown tones.  I was surprised at how quickly it came together.  The hardest part for me was not making rosy cheeks and lips.
