Eeeeks, it's August ALREADY and that means school is right around the corner.  New digi, Geeky Tobie, has his supplies, new glasses, and is ready for the bus.  I love a geek (truly) so this just may be my new favorite SOG stamp!

An apple a day...

I had some fun with Kraftin' Kimmie's Abigail Apple stamp.  I decided to dust off some of my older stamps and get them inky again.  Abigail Apple is an oldy, but goodie and I think she will make a great birthday card!

Leapin' Lizards!

This is a birthday card I just finished for a little guy who is turning 3 tomorrow.  He loves all things reptiles so this will be perfect.  I love this stamp set "Leaping Lizards", but that is about as far as my love for reptiles goes.

Cupcake please!

I normally don't have quiet blog time, but my creative mojo has been on break.  Wish I could say it was on Spring Break but NOTHING here is remotely spring like.

I have a card to share today featuring Tiny Baker Tia, from Some Odd Girl.  I included some Doodlebug Design papers and Freckled Fawn goodies.  I so wish I had that cupcake to eat!

It's all about the chocolate!

HA!  I LOVE candy, especially chocolate.  Forget the romance, give me chocolates!  I had fun creating these little treat bags for Valentine's Day using digis Ribbons, and Demure from Some Odd Girl.  It's doesn't always have to be a Valentine image, think outside the 'box'.

Some things are better rich...

Another Valentine card, this one probably best to sent to one of my girl friends.  This Art Impressions stamp is totally me, laying around eating chocolates ;)   You have to admit, it's great fun!

YeeHaw! I'm on the blog at Some Odd Girl today sharing a Valentine card.  I challenged myself and I challenge you too - find 2 images that have nothing to do with Valentine's day and create a card with a 'feeling of love'. kiss kiss!

I used Cowboy Kody and Cowgirl Mae, plus the sentiment and sign are made using stamps from the Make A Statement stamp set.  I colored each of them with some red clothing so it would be easy to find goodies to coordinate, such as some lovey dovey papers and accents.  Check out my blog post, SOG BLOG!

Crafty Christmas Tree

Time to decorate the tree!  I found this unfinished tree and well, finished it.  I used acrylic paint to paint the base, and the tree is layered with papers from Echo Park. Other products are from Doodlebug, and Petaloo.

Once the paper was in place I slathered Mod Podge on it, when that dried I sprayed it with iridescent glitter dust.  Which I have to say seemed to land everywhere, just ask the dogs!

Merry Christmas card...

One of my first Christmas cards of the season (I know Thanksgiving hasn't passed yet).  I had so much fun building this pop-up card with such adorable stickers.

All materials used for this card are from #Doodlebug Design, Santa Express!

White cold stuff...

Last winter was sooooo impossibly cold that I thought the boys would never get time to go out and play.  They did manage to get out a few times and were busy trying to make a snow fort.

I love how this layout went together, love this paper...blues, purples... yum.

 Close up

Busy, busy...

I have been having such a great time playing with the new Doodlebug Design goodies I got - can you say simply adorable critters, and great add-on's?  Yep!  I have more ideas up my sleeve, and as you know, you need to create when the mojo is flowing!

Gabe doesn't seem to mind sharing his birthday and opening Christmas and birthday presents on the same day.  I love this picture of him with Santa, and I had a critter explosion with this layout.  This layout fits with his personality..silly, fun, and all over the place.

Critter close-ups!
